6 dried cranberries
¾ cup Champagne or sparkling wine, chilled
Place cranberries in the bottom of a Champagne flute and pour your favorite Champagne over the berries. Serve immediately.
Sour Apple Martini (Makes 4 servings)
4 thinly sliced Granny Smith apple wedges
¾ cup of vodka
¾ cup sour apple Schnapps
Crushed ice cubes
Rub the rims of the chilled martini glasses with the apple slices. Pour cinnamon sugar into a saucer and spin the rim of each glass in the cinnamon sugar. Place one apple slice on the rim of each glass.
Stir together the vodka and Schnapps. Fill the cocktail shaker halfway full of ice. Add half the vodka mixture, cover with lid, and shake 10 seconds or until chilled. Strain into chilled martini glasses and repeat with the remaining vodka mixture. Serve immediately.
Poinsettia Gimlet (Makes 9 cups)
1 (12-oz.) bottle sweetened lime juice
1 cup gin
½ cup pomegranate juice
¼ cup fresh lime juice
4 (12-oz.) cans lemon-lime soft drink, chilled
Stir the first four ingredients together in a large pitcher and chill for two hours. Stir in the lemon-lime soft drinks and serve over ice in chilled rocks glasses.
